Bearings reigns from Philadelphia, PA. They are a powerful four piece post-hardcore/screamo band formed in 2009 in the vein of bands like Small Brown Bike, Hot Water Music, Texas Is The Reason with an ambient element that plays to the style of Explosions In The Sky. They have a S/T 7” EP out on Runner Up Records and a split 7” with Pswingset on Missing Words Records. In August, 2010 they released their debut LP on Runner Up Records called “Exist.Expire.” They are currently working on a split 7” with the band Directions on City Of Gold Records (UK) and Either/Or Records (USA) and planning to tour the United Kingdom in March, 2010.
